Jesus– Your Good Shepherd

This week, on the Fourth Sunday of Easter, many in the Christian Church take time to recognize our resurrected Lord as our Good Shepherd.  In John 10 Jesus used this picture to describe his relationship to us– a picture that was very familiar to people of his day who would daily see such shepherds, but also one that is dearly loved by Christians even today.  We, like sheep, tend to stray and struggle spiritually, and our Savior Jesus– the Good Shepherd– guides us here in this life by means of his Word, and will guide us safely to the rich pastures of heaven.  We hope you can join us in worship this week as we look once again at this truly comforting picture of our Savior.
